Celebration Church Cafe
Celebration Church is a multi-site church that is always on the outlook to expand their outreach to surrounding communities. The main campus in Jacksonville is located on a 28 acre campus designed to house 5,000 people at any given service and is constantly in flux to adjust and adapt to the needs of its followers. Fisher | Koppenhafer has had the pleasure of working with the Church for several years by providing feasibility studies to the design of prototype outreach missions.
The Church Café project is a 2-story Café and fellowship hall. Completed in 2013 at the cost of $800,000, The first floor is dedicated to both a bookstore and a flexible café with both indoor and outdoor seating. The café is modeled after a successful Times Square coffee shop that features color adjusting LED lighting and the ability to serve up to 500 people at a time leaving the sanctuary after services. The second floor was designed as a multi-purpose space for fellowship and service and serves as a flex space. Special attention was necessary for the addition and its incorporation into the existing buildings electrical, fire protection and support spaces.
