​Ponte Vedra Inn & Club - Ocean Deck

Fisher Koppenhafer was tasked with rebranding the existing High Tides Bar into a family friendly dining experience with beach views. Our concept was to minimize the inside seating and expand seating to the old boardwalk to maximize the ocean front experience. The current bar was gutted and installed in its place is a new full service kitchen with a bar component. The unused board walk was raised to the height of the pool deck and the pool deck pavers were integrated into the new seating area.  Above the dining area a new trellis was designed to limit direct sunlight on the diners and to define the dining area. The new bar was then established in the interior of the building which opens up the connection between the pool and the ocean by utilizing large roll up doors. The perimeter of the bar top was designed to incorporate hidden overhead roll up security doors that are hidden during operating hours and secured during afterhours to secure equipment from the harsh ocean elements.   New fresh finishes compliment the the beach front design aesthetic.
